This beautiful song tells the story of Donna and Vikki’s grandmother who married a “Yankee Sailor” and at the US Navy’s expense boarded the Bridal Train from Perth to Sydney and then on by ship to San Francisco, to be reunited with her husband.

GRAND OVERALL WINNER OF US SONGWRITING COMPETITION IN DEC 2006, AHEAD OF 30,000 entries, and the first Non-USA winner of this prestigious award.

BRIDAL TRAIN reached No. 1 on the AIR INDEPENDENT CHARTS.  IT WAS NOMINATED IN THE BEST INDEPENDENT RELEASE CATEGORY FOR THE 2004 ARIA AWARDS

The BRIDAL TRAIN Video Clip took out BEST MUSIC VIDEO at the West Australian Screen Awards in March 2005. This was produced by Rob Bygott and his team at BARD FILMS, a West Australian independent film maker.
